The new web based database launched in June is now well established with many members successfully entering data into the nephrectomy audit that was combined with the Section of Onoclogy dataset in January 2009 and all historical data has been imported into the new system. A new audit of PCNL will be launched on-line on January 1st 2010 and you are encouraged to start entering your data into this audit as soon as possible From January 1st 2010 the only method for returning data for both the laparoscopic nephrectomy and PCNL audits will be via the web-based program. No paper returns and no extracts from the current access databases will be accepted after 31st December 2009. (Any paper forms submitted to Sarah Fowler after this date will be returned to sender). Any data returned up to the end of the year will be transferred to the new system as soon as possible.

In order to encourage direct entry onto the system and avoid duplication of effort new paper proformas will not be released however, should you wish to design your own, the content and format for all on-line datasets can be downloaded below.
It is envisaged that all future audits for the section will be on-line and you will be given plenty of notice of starting dates. |
